Shortly after 11 p.m. on April 7, 2020, residents of the city of Medina experienced strong thunderstorms in the darkness and damaging winds. They would later learn a powerful EF1 tornado had struck their neighborhoods causing much damage to trees and homes. Winds were reported in excess of 100 miles per hour.Residents described an intense storm with strong winds and accompanying hail damage, The combination of strong winds, large hail, and downed trees left a significant path throughout the city of Medina.
